Expectations of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) in Addressing Global Climate Change and the Impact on the Physical and Mental Health of Older Adults

This white paper authored by Valerie K. Sabol, PhD, MBA, ACNP-BC, GNP-BC, ANEF, FAANP, FAAN; Daniel J. Smith, PhD, AGPCNP-BC, CNE, FAAN; Milagros Elia, MA, APRN, ANP-BC; Ann Kriebel-Gasparro, DrNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, GS-C, FAANP, was approved by the GAPNA Board of Directors and Will remain on the GAPNA website for a period of 2 weeks until February 3, 2025 for GAPNA members to comment. After that period, the White Paper will be removed and comments will be reviewed by the authors for consideration and edits. After that period, the paper will then be reviewed by the GAPNA Board of Directors with comments for acceptance or denial on behalf of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) as an official publication.
