Liberty Chapter of GAPNA

Sign up for a virtual Hill day to advocate for a healthy environment

Posted 22 days ago by Liberty GAPNA State Chapter

Dear Liberty Chapter members,
Have you signed up yet for ANHE's Virtual Hill Days on May 1st and May 2nd?  Legislators need to hear from nurses now more than ever! This is so important for our older adult patients!
While there has been significant progress and gains in environmental health at a federal level, it is important that nurses continue to reinforce that environmental action is critical to protect health. There is also concern that environmental progress made these past two years is at risk. We need nurses across the country to make your voice heard so we can protect the progress that has been made!
For those that sign up, ANHE will schedule ½ hour virtual legislative visits with offices in your respective legislative district based on your availability. We encourage nurse advocates of all levels to join us!

Before our Hill Days, on Tuesday April 30th at 3 PM EST, ANHE will hold an optional 1 hour planning and logistical pre-meeting for our Hill days. On this call, we will review our “asks” to legislators and answer any questions. Please register for this optional prep call in advance. If you cannot attend on Tuesday April 30th, we will record the meeting and you will still receive the latest information/talking points before your Hill visits via the email address you provided.

Upcoming ANHE Virtual Hill Days - May 1st & 2nd
