Do you care for older adults? At GAPNA, we know that caring for older adults takes continuous education and specialty skills. Would you like to be recognized for these specialty skills? Consider taking the exam for the
Gerontological Specialist - Certified (GS-C).
To distinguish APRNs who possess expert knowledge, experience, and skill in managing the complex health needs of older adults, GAPNA and Gerontology Nursing Certification Commission (GNCC) offer an APRN specialty certification in gerontology – the APRN Gerontological Specialist - Certified (GS-C).
The registration fee for the exam is $295 for GAPNA members and $395 for others. Pre-registration is required to sit for the exam. Please refer to the fees page for additional information.
Once you apply, take the exam, and pass, you can use the letters GS-C after your name and credentials.
