Liberty Chapter Speaker Bureau is live! We need speakers and volunteers for the Education Committee!

The Liberty Chapter is proud to announce that our Speaker Bureau is now open and ready for applications!
What is the Liberty Speaker Bureau?
The Liberty Chapter will provide a $50.00 honorarium to all speakers who complete a 50-minute (with a Q&A session of approximately 5 minutes) presentation approved by the Education Committee **. The topic may be anything that relates to the care of the older adult. If you are interested in being a speaker, please contact:
Speaker Requirements:
- Applications for speaking sessions undergo review and approval by the Liberty Education Committee.
We are also looking for volunteers to serve one year on the Education Committee ( 4 people ) to review and approve applications to be Speakers - if interested please send an email to Ann or Aparna. We are looking for 4 people to serve on this Education Committee which will grow in the near future to plan events such as workshops, dinners, and CEUs.
How will the Speaker Bureau work in this time of sheltering in place? Good question! Our original plan was to have a live meeting with a sponsored dinner, however - this is on hold as we are keeping ourselves, our communities, and families safe. (God bless those of you still on the frontlines!)
So - our speakers will be zoomed out across the state. We hope to have a variety of subjects. We have our first speaker who works for CMS lined up who will have a Town Hall type meeting to discuss questions about CMS - telehealth, billing and coding, and any questions you have. Please stay tuned for the date and time and zoom login information.
I hope to hear from you soon! Please stay safe!
best,
Ann, President
Aparna, President-Elect
