Full Practice Authority Bill Stuck in PA House Committee
Republican leaders in the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives are not allowing Pennsylvania’s full practice authority bill (HB 100) to come up for vote. Full practice authority supporters are asking Pennsylvania residents to contact their state representatives to push for a full practice authority vote. Call 844-250-5540 to support HB 100.

Medicare Part B Providers: CMS has updated who is deemed eligible to report QPP MIPS data. Please check your eligibility using the CMS look up tool to see if you have been added as an eligible clinician qpp.cms.gov. Congress Takes Action on FY 2018 Spending Bill
Earlier this week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the FY 2018 Omnibus Appropriations Bill by a vote of 256-167. The spending package includes $249.472 million for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization funding, this is nearly a 9% increase over FY 2017. The bill now will head to the Senate, which expected to pass it shortly. The president is also expected to sign the measure.
