Dear Liberty GAPNA member -

It has been a busy few days at the GAPNA annual conference in lovely Phoenix, Arizona. A total of 22 Pennsylvania Advanced Practice Nurses had the opportunity to attend this event, and it has been joyful to meet these clinicians. Our conference experience has been filled with leadership meetings, educational offerings, and networking opportunities. Ann Kriebel-Gasparro (President Elect) and I even had a chance to pose for silly pictures in the Exhibit Hall....check out the Liberty Chapter of GAPNA on Facebook to see the hilarity.

I am working hard to increase our chapter's networking and outreach efforts over the next few months to stimulate engagement and communication between Pennsylvania APNs. You can find Liberty GAPNA online, on Facebook....and now on LinkedIn! Stay tuned for updates about our events and opportunities.

A reminder that you do not have to be a current GAPNA member to attend our events.
Advanced Practice Nurses provide holistic and comprehensive care for Pennsylvania seniors with skills learned through a variety of educational paths. Liberty GAPNA welcomes Adult, Adult/Gero, Geriatric, Family, Acute and Critical Care NPs, as well as CNS practitioners and CRNAs. We also welcome students!

The conference wraps up tomorrow, and it has been a very enjoyable and educational event. Please consider attending the 2017 GAPNA conference in Nashville, TN next October.

Gotta dash....the Exhibit Hall is opening in a few minutes

With warm regards,

Sarah A. Kangas

President, Liberty GAPNA
