A Note from Liberty GAPNA
Posted about 9 years ago by Sarah Kangas
Dear GAPNA member:
I hope this note finds you enjoying the warm Pennsylvania summer.
My name is Sarah Kangas and I am your 2016-2017 GAPNA Liberty Chapter President. We are a community of adult and geriatric nurse practitioners from a variety of exciting clinical backgrounds. During the next 12 months, our growing chapter will offer social events to learn about clinical and pharmacological advancements, share insights into the practice of gerontological medicine, and network with chapter members. I look forward to seeing you at our events.
I would like to introduce your 2016-2017 GAPNA Liberty Chapter Board Members:
- President Elect: Ann Kriebel-Gasparo, DrNP, MSN, GNP-BC, FNP-BC
- Treasurer and Secretary: Kia Mellon, CRNP, AGPCNP-BC
We are excited about serving and building this Pennsylvania chapter. We welcome your ideas for future chapter events and any feedback about meetings.
Our first event will be a collaborative chapter meeting with the Delaware Valley GAPNA group on Thursday, September 8th, 2016. Details about this event will be emailed shortly.
I will be attending the annual conference in Phoenix from September 21-24, 2016. I hope to see you in Arizona. Please take a moment to introduce yourself should we cross paths.
Thank you for being a member of the GAPNA Liberty Chapter.
Sincerly,
Sarah A. Kangas MSN CRNP APN-BC CDE
President, Liberty GAPNA
