Nurse Practitioner And Physician Assistant Benefits
The successful candidate will be responsible for various functions for the SubSpecialty surgery division including consulting on surgical patients, bedside procedures, and daily rounding on admitted patients as well as multidisciplinary care coordination. Our SubSpecialty Surgical Services team consists of several Advanced Practitioners who care for patients in the following surgical areas: Bariatric, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Urology, Colorectal and Vascular specialties.
Role: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, 06606
Setting: Inpatient, surgical subspecialties
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours), 13-hour shifts, occasional Saturdays.
Call schedule: No call

- Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider’s practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physicians.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- New grad candidates should have experience in a surgical setting in training or previous career
