Position Description

A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a great School-based position with their team in the Bronx.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement the practice of the school-based health program
  • Provide comprehensive healthcare and referral services to students and supports parents/guardians in caring for their children
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) program
  • NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • Completion Internship and Residency Training from an approved medical facility- Pediatrics or Family Practice
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Family Practice
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Infection Control certification
  • DEA certification
  • Medicaid
